FEMA Hazard Mitigation - Current Grant Opportunities - Millions of Dollars Available!

Ms. Davis will present on the newly announced Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funds for Minnesota and the nationally competitive Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) priorities. She will outline traditional program eligibility and projects types. She will be available to discuss opportunities to include climate change adaptation to make communities in Minnesota more resilient to the hazards we face.

MCAP is currently seeking applicants for a Climate Communications Specialist to create and implement effective communications about the MCAP team and our climate adaptation projects and programs. The application deadline is July 27.

June 20, 2023

June 21, 2023 is the sixth annual #ShowYourStripes Day, a global campaign to spread awareness about climate change using warming stripes graphics. The iconic blue and red barcode will appear on landmarks, TV screens, magazines, and hopefully you, as the world unites to show their stripes.

The position will bring in-depth climate science expertise to assist Minnesota’s agricultural sector, water and natural resource managers, and  communities in responding to impacts of a changing climate.
