Join the Department of Soil, Water and Climate on Thursday, October 13 for the 29th annual Kuehnast Lecture in the fields of Meteorology and Climate featuring Zeke Hausfather, PhD. Dr. Hausfather is a climate scientist and research lead for Stripe specializing in climate models, carbon removal, mitigation technologies and observational temperature records.

The 2022 Climate Change and Health Equity Summit will bring together health departments, health care providers, and community-based organizations and others who are working with communities to achieve health equity and develop climate solutions that are centered in a health equity framework. Engage with others to build a shared understanding of how public health law can and should make our communities healthier and help mitigate climate change.

PhD Student Opportunity

Dr. Heidi Roop and Dr. Melissa Kenney are seeking applicants for a PhD-level graduate research assistant to drive the Extension and social science research agenda for the USDA-funded Dashboard for Agricultural Water Use and Nutrient Management (DAWN) project. This position is jointly supported by the Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership and the Institute on the Environment.
