This presentation will cover climate impacts that are affecting Tribal Nations in the Midwest, Tribal actions being done in climate adaptation and resilience, tools and resources that have been developed and used to help with these, and the role and efforts of the Midwest Tribal Resilience Liaison.

Public Comment Period Open for 5th National Climate Assessment
A draft version of the Fifth National Climate Assessment (NCA5) is now available for a 12-week public review and comment period. MCAP team members Heidi Roop and Brenda Hoppe contributed to this national effort. Additional information on this request can be found in the Federal Register Notice and in this USGCRP Open Notice.
MCAP Named Recipient of Climate Resilience Fund Grant Award
Amanda Farris, Senior Program Manager for MCAP, has been named 1 of 24 recipients of the Climate Resilience Fund Coordination and Collaboration in the Resilience Ecosystem Program. The grant program will provide funding for climate service practitioners who will support efforts to scale up and accelerate equity-centered adaptation planning across the U.S.
