Thank You for Your Support!

Thursday, November 17, 2022 was Give to the Max Day, an annual tradition in Minnesota. Also known as Minnesota’s unofficial “giving holiday,” Give to the Max Day was launched in 2009 by GiveMN as “a statewide outpouring of support” for schools and nonprofit agencies. This year more than $34 million dollars was raised in support of 6,439 organizations!

MCAP participated for the first time in this year's Give to the Max Day

With support from the University of Minnesota Extension and the College of Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resource Sciences, we are growing our team and partnerships to help communities and landscapes prepare and thrive in a changing climate. Your generous support allowed us to reach our $2,000 goal and earn an additional $1,000 in prize money!

Financial support helps MCAP partner in cutting-edge research to share future climate projections for Minnesota and develop tools to help people prepare for climate change. It helps deliver high quality training and technical support to help Minnesotans plan for climate change. It helps us strengthen connections and collaboration within and across communities to support climate resilience.

Your generous donations will help MCAP support student involvement in research and engagement, grow scholarship funding to ensure everyone can access our tools and take part in training, sustain high-quality resources like the WeatherTalk Blog, recognize Minnesota's climate leaders, and more.

THANK YOU! Your support helps to ensure our strong partnership to help Minnesota communities prepare and thrive in a changing climate.
