Public Comment Period Open for 5th National Climate Assessment

November 9, 2022

A draft version of the Fifth National Climate Assessment (NCA5) is now available for a 12-week public review and comment period. MCAP team members Heidi Roop and Brenda Hoppe contributed to this national effort. Additional information on this request can be found in the Federal Register Notice and in this USGCRP Open Notice.


MCAP Named Recipient of Climate Resilience Fund Grant Award

November 2, 2022

Amanda Farris, Senior Program Manager for MCAP, has been named 1 of 24 recipients of the Climate Resilience Fund Coordination and Collaboration in the Resilience Ecosystem Program. The grant program will provide funding for climate service practitioners who will support efforts to scale up and accelerate equity-centered adaptation planning across the U.S.
