On the Afternoons of August 30 – September 1, 2021, the Minnesota State Climate Office is proud to host its first Climate Services Workshop. This workshop will aim to bring together a broad domain of climate experts from a diverse set of state, regional and national agencies, for the purposes of showcasing and improving climate services that are available to the citizens of Minnesota.

Leveraging AI for the Climate

MCAP is part of a newly funded AI Institute for Climate-Land Interactions, Mitigation, Adaptation, Tradeoffs and Economy (AI-CLIMATE) research institute, funded by NSF and USDA, to leverage artificial intelligence to create more climate-smart practices that will absorb and store carbon while simultaneously boosting the economy in the agriculture and forestry industries.
