MCAP Featured on MPR to Discuss Climate Change Impacts to Agriculture

Minnesota farmers have identified climate resiliency as their most pressing issue right now, according to the Minnesota Farmers Union. In an interview with MPR News host Angela Davis, MCAP Director, Dr. Heidi Roop joined Ariel Kagan of the Minnesota Farmers Union and Hannah Bernhardt of Medicine Creek Farms to share how our state’s agriculture industry is adapting to extreme weather, such as droughts, floods and abundant snowfalls.

The Minnesota Farmers Union also announced that they will host a series of Climate Conversations throughout the state to discuss challenges and opportunities in communities.
