Leveraging AI for the Climate
MCAP is part of a newly funded AI Institute for Climate-Land Interactions, Mitigation, Adaptation, Tradeoffs and Economy (AI-CLIMATE) research institute, funded by NSF and USDA, to leverage artificial intelligence to create more climate-smart practices that will absorb and store carbon while simultaneously boosting the economy in the agriculture and forestry industries.

Job Opening: 1854 Treaty Authority Climate Specialist
The 1854 Treaty Authority is seeking applicants for a Climate Specialist to assist in understanding and communicating the impacts of climate change on the resources within the 1854 Ceded Territory of northeastern Minnesota and to lead the development of a successful climate change program. Applications are due Monday, May 1, 2023.
