MCAP is facilitating a cohort of 27 exceptional climate leaders from across Minnesota to attend the Aspen Ideas: Climate conference this month. The annual gathering brings together national and local leaders to “reimagine what is possible'' in terms of climate solutions and science. Yet, these conferences tend to lack representation of the many forms of climate leadership that take place at the community level.
We believe that we can achieve more by bringing more voices, experiences and expertise to the table. Our cohort includes farmers, artists, healthcare professionals, and non-profit and political leaders — representing the diversity of perspectives truly involved in, and critical for, effective climate action. Minnesota is a leader in community climate action and we can’t wait to share and learn at Aspen Ideas: Climate!
