The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is seeking a Principal Climate and Resilience Planner to develop and implement climate and resilience transportation plans, programs and projects. The position will lead the agency’s Resilience Advisory team, assist management in determining objectives and analytical approaches, and clarify issues to address in the planning process. The position will provide support for statewide and regional public-private collaboration and engagement efforts; create reports and associated plans and projects; and act as a project leader. MnDOT is looking for a planner with a few years of experience, ideally with a basic understanding of climate modeling, vulnerability assessment, and strategies for climate adaptation in the transportation sector. The position will remain open until October 15th.
