Biography
Madi is a NOAA Fellow conducting geospatial and climate data analysis to advance regional climate resilience in the coastal region of Minnesota’s Lake Superior with the NOAA Climate Resilience Regional Challenge. Madi received her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and recently completed her Master of Science in Earth and Environmental Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Her thesis research focused on meteorology and climatology in the western Lake Superior region by analyzing the impact of climate change on extratropical cyclone frequency and intensity, with respect to lake level, wind, and wave action on Lake Superior’s north shore.
