MCAP is examining how Minnesota’s climate might change by the end of the century. We are creating high resolution datasets of climate variables based on several scenarios. This position would help us by downloading and organizing the raw data we need to run our computer models. The data are stored at climate research centers around the world and are connected via the Earth System Grid. Your main task would be to download thousands of files from a predetermined list, check the data integrity, and store the data on Linux and Mac machines to make them easily accessible to our research team.
