Strengthening Our Homes

Adaptation in Action Webinar Series

Tuesday, July 18, Noon to 1:00 p.m

Extreme precipitation, wind, wildfire, and other weather events that are projected to become more frequent due to climate change can damage our homes, increase insurance rates, and raise concerns for our public health and safety. In this presentation, we will learn about the Department of Commerce's climate resiliency efforts with a specific focus on the Strengthen Minnesota Homes program, as well as other new programs and resources that passed the State Legislature this past session. We will highlight how these efforts play a critical part in the State of Minnesota's overall efforts to strengthen climate resiliency.
