Biography
Catherine J. Bruns (B.A. Concordia College, M.A. James Madison University) is a PhD candidate in Communication Studies at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where she studies media discourses of water scarcity. Her dissertation examines stakeholder communication surrounding climate adaptation in the Andalucía, Spain, wine community; her MCAP involvement supports knowledge transfer at the Center for OLDest Ice Exploration (COLDEX). She currently serves on the UMN Water Council, the International Environmental Communication Association Board of Directors, and the United States Global Leadership Coalition Minnesota State Advisory Council.
