The latest Ipsos poll about public opinion on climate change shows only 49% of Americans believe climate change is mostly caused by human activity. However, more than half of Americans believe that it is not too late to stop climate change (54%). MCAP Director, Dr. Heidi Roop, is quoted in a recent article in The Hill about the survey noting that, although the majority of Americans now accept that climate change is happening, many are still unwilling to accept that human activity is responsible despite unequivocal scientific evidence.
