The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is seeking applicants for a new Climate and Energy Coordinator position. This person will play a vital role in coordinating the state’s efforts to understand, characterize, mitigate, and manage the human health and environmental risks from greenhouse gas emissions and climate change. The position will advise the agency on climate change mitigation policy and coordinate policy and program development, including integrating environmental justice and equity into this work.
MCAP is seeking an Undergraduate Data Curator to help us collect and organize high resolution climate data to be used in developing future climate projections for Minnesota.
The State of Minnesota recently released a new Climate Action Framework, which lays out a plan for how the state will address and prepare for climate change through both mitigation and adaptation strategies.
