of Minnesota Extension climatologist and meteorologist Mark Seeley. Each Friday morning, around 6:50 AM,
Mark's climate and weather observations can be heard on Minnesota Public Radio's
Morning Edition.
In the days leading up to the program, Mark offers possible discussion topics to the MPR staff
via e-mail. The products below contain these suggestions. Due to time constraints,

Minnesota Weather Almanac
|
Mark Seeley's book, Minnesota Weather Almanac, published by the Minnesota Historical Society Press is
available in bookstores and online. It is a complete guide to Minnesota weather,
featuring stories, fun facts, scientific lessons, and the best questions from the MPR Annual
State Fair Weather Quiz broadcast on the Midday program. This book is an attempt to describe
the history of weather all the way back to 1806. Readers of the weekly newsletter "Minnesota
WeatherTalk" should find it interesting reading.
