Many project details were presented via a powerpoint presentation which can be downloaded (587kb).
Some details of 'online data entry' highlighted with another powerpoint presentation can also be downloaded (742kb). An older Word document which describes the online data entry (but does not include details for entering snow data) is also available for download (284kb). The reflective material applied to the alumimum bar to make the snow ruler appears to be fairly fragile. It is recommended that the lowest 1 to 2 inches be taped with clear packing tape to protect the end that will pierce occasionally abrasive icy snows.
Other equipment, including 'marker' flags and 'snow poles' (for 'snow lying' or 'snow depth'), will be made available as they are acquired.
