'Mapable file' Temperature Retrieval

Thermochron (TC) temperature data from near the north shore of Lake Superior are retrieved. Utm X and Y values (NAD83) together with temperatures are presented on the screen as comma separated triplets. The information can be saved to a .DAT file for use with the Golden Surfer plotting and gridding program or GIS software.

Once data has been retrieved, a 'pop-up map' button appears which can be used to map the data.

Data is ingested once buttons have been recieved by the State Climatology Office or a site visit to read the device has been made. Data starts on Dec 6, 2003. The Hwy 1 transect starts on Feb 5-6, 2004.
