How this map was made:

For each annual snowfall year (July-June), one gridded map was generated based on the individual station observations using a kriging technique. From this, a software procedure ranked the snowfall totals based on the entire distribution for the given number of seasons to a reference of 64in.The 64in. statistic for each gridpoint is given such that the value represents the percent observations that are less than 64 in. Negative values indicate that no observations are below this value.
