Heavy Rains Fall on Northwestern Minnesota
June 19 and 20, 2000

ff000620.gif (7317 bytes)Torrential rains fell upon eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota during the evening of June 19 and early morning of June 20. The heaviest of the rains fell on the Fargo/Moorhead area, flooding roads and basements. Urban flooding was also reported in Ada, Fosston, Goodridge, Oklee, and Mahnomen. The largest reported 24-hour precipitation total was 7.31 inches in Moorhead.
