Balmy November 1-15, 2009
On the heels of a winter-like October came a taste of autumn in November. The pleasant weather was thanks to persistent areas of Pacific high pressure and any major rain and snow storms steered clear of the state. November 1-15 ranks among the top ten warmest first half of Novembers on record. The Twin Cities had its 7th warmest November 1-15 on record with 45.5 degrees. Three of the top ten warmest November 1-15 periods have been in the 2000's, with the warmest November 1-15 in 2001 with 51.5 degrees.
