Climate Specialist Training Program

Person presenting half-day training across sectors

The University of Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership offers Climate Data Workshops using MN CliMAT and other related future climate information.

These workshops equip professionals across agricultural, natural resources, urban planning, public health and other sectors to make climate-informed decisions.

We are currently offering half-day, full-day and two-day sessions. Instruction will include climate model basics, appropriate use of the MN CliMAT tool, and leading practices for adaptation planning and resilience decision-making. Workshops will help professionals and practitioners understand when and how to access and interpret the data presented in the MN CliMAT interactive tool. We also offer active networking opportunities, and exercises in constructively applying future climate data and tools.
